Fellow Visionaries

=20

Wilson says,

=20

=93And lest some anonymous poster take this as an invitation to lecture =
us on shame and shamelessness, let me point out that thus far he has =
been too craven and embarrassed to sign his own name. Shame, aye. Wisdom =
is identified by her children, and folly by her bastards.=94

=20

But this raises an interesting question. How come every time Rose Huskey =
touches one of Wilson=92s exposed nerves, a new =93forum member=94 =
arrives to let her have it? We have =93Edna #1,=94 Doug =93the Bubba=94 =
Jones, =93A. Tad Nosey,=94 =93P.S. Stile,=94 and now =93Kyle =
DeSpinauer.=94=20

=20

Anonymity bothers Wilson except when it serves his deceitful ends. =
Surely he remembers the time that he anonymously doctored the =93Welcome =
to Moscow=94 sign on the Pullman Highway so that he could grandstand on =
women=92s breasts.

=20

Come to think of it, he paid off the casino house just two months before =
he scolded the Palouse for the topless carwash. Maybe if the Morton =
Street Casino=92s playing cards were adorned with naked women, he would =
have had cause of action to discipline the gamblers.

=20

I could cite other examples of Wilson hiding behind anonymity, but =
I=92ll keep those cards close to my . . . my breast. Aye, wisdom is =
identified by her children, folly by her bastards, and wickedness by its =
fruit.

#3 and #4.
> 1. in the fall of 2001, Christ Church member Ethan =
>=20
> guys attempting to return his winnings, while complaining at the =
same=20
> > time that the church was robbing him through our =
mediation. In=20
order
> > to be above all reproach, our elders appropriated =
the money=20
to ensure
> > the gambling restitution (not debts) was paid to =
him,=20
entered that
> > transaction in our minutes as part of our =
COVER-UP, I=20
gave the money
> > to Brett personally and warned him about =
the state=20
of his soul, and
> > Brett was so concerned about the morality =
of the=20
whole business that
> > he went and cashed the check. We also=20
instructed the young men
> > concerned that they could donate =
money=20
back to our deacons' fund
> > instead of paying restitution to =
Brett.=20
And that money was donated to
> > the deacons' fund by the=20
Atwoods.
> >
> > 4. Brett suddenly acquires scruples =
about the=20
tax status of his money
> > that had been returned to him. But =
if I=20
left my wallet on a restaurant
> > table, and the waiter =
chased me=20
down and gave it to me, he would not
> > also owe me a =

that=20
Brett Bauer has
> > apparent credibility, and want answers=20
now.
> >
> > And here I return to my first point. =
Bill, do=20
your people have no
> > shame? No sense of decency? "An =
ungodly man=20
digs up evil, and it is on
> > his lips like a burning fire" =
(Prov.=20

My wife and I count as one of the great privileges of our life
> =
> our=20
friendship with Roy and Bev Atwood, a godly and gracious Christian =
> >=20
couple. And I am pleased that their son Ethan appears to be past the =
>=20
> difficulties that beset him a few years ago. He certainly has been =
far=20
> > more teachable and receptive of correction than all his =
critics=20
put
> > together.
> >
> >
> =

charges=20
> >> are false.
> >> I did carefully read the=20
documentation and did not find the proof
> >> that the =

false. Maybe, if you were specific regarding
> >> the =

raised, we could get this sorted out.
> >>
> >> =
So,=20
please specifically comment on the accuracy of the following
> =
>>=20
points made on the website:
> >> 1. in the fall of 2001, =
Christ=20
Church member Ethan opens a casino in
> >> a garage in =
Moscow,=20
offering illegal gambling and alcohol. church
> >> member =
Brett=20
serves as bank
> >> 2. in Dec of 2001, you found out about =
the=20
casino and took the
> >> following action: cancelled all =
debts,=20
including $4,500 owed to the
> >> bank and tells those who =
had won=20
approximately $1000 from the bank to
> >> return it to the=20
bank.
> >> 3. Ethan said the casino was OK'ed by another =
Christ=20
Church officer.
> >> 4. Casino players who won the $1000 =
refuse to=20
return the money.
> >> 5. Brett contacts you to get his=20
$1000
> >> 6. Christ Church elders take $1000 from church =
general=20
funds and you
> >> give it to Brett in June 2002
> =
>>=20
7. Brett wants to declare the $1000 as income in reporting federal =
>=20
>> tax in 2003 (and wants IRS form 1099 from church to explain=20
receipt).
> >> 8. Christ Church refuses to supply IRS form=20
1099.
> >>
> >> Please address the accuracy of =
these 8=20
points. The documentation on
> >> that website =
(emails and=20
letters reproduced) indicates these 8 points
> >> are=20
accurate.
> >> BL
> >>
> >>
> =

that the casino was a fully operational gaming
> >>>> =

facility equipped with books, chips, wet bar, free alcohol, a
>=20
>>>> secret doorbell, casino trappings, credited money from =

addition=20
to violating state
> >>>> laws, such as dispensing =
