The jury in the terrorism case against University of Idaho student
Sami Al-Hussayen has completed its deliberations and is preparing to
deliver its verdict. The jury is expected to give U.S. District Judge
Edward Lodge its verdict about 11:30 a.m.

Al-Hussayen, a computer science student from Saudi Arabia, is charged
with 14 counts of aiding terrorist groups and visa and immigration
fraud. He's been in jail since his arrest in Moscow in February 2003.
In an earlier ruling in a separate immigation action against
Hussayen, a judge ordered him to be deported to Saudi Arabia.

The jury told Lodge Wednesday that it had reached a decision on some
of the counts, but was deadlocked on others. Lodge give the jury
additional instructions about breaking the impasse, and asked the
jury to return and complete its deliberations.

The jury informed the judge about 11 a.m. today that it had done so.
