1.   "Receipt" of Planning and Zoning Commission Recommendation on
Comprehensive Plan Map Amendment Regarding Area of City Impact Boundary -
Joel Plaskon 

      On January 5, 2004, the City of Moscow and Latah County adopted
ordinances amending the Area of City Impact Agreement and Map wherein the
County adopted the City's Comprehensive Plan and the size of the Area of
City Impact was reduced.  Accordingly, the City's Comprehensive Plan Map
must be amended to reflect the new Area of City Impact boundary.  Idaho Code
requires that the City Council not give notice of a hearing on the
Comprehensive Plan Map amendment until having "received" the recommendation
of the Planning and Zoning Commission.

 

      ACTION:  Acknowledgement of "receipt" of Planning and Zoning
Commission recommendation.

 

2.   "Receipt" of Planning and Zoning Commission Recommendation on
Comprehensive Plan Map Amendment Proposal by JEMCA Development LLC
(Salisbury) - Joel Plaskon 

      JEMCA Development and its acting representative, Mike Salisbury, is
processing land use applications to develop 86 acres of land located east of
White Avenue and south of Joseph Street.  The plan includes Comprehensive
Plan Land Use Amendments as well as annexation, rezoning and platting.
Idaho Code requires that the City Council not give notice of a hearing on
the Comprehensive Plan Map amendment until having "received" the
recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission.

 

      ACTION:  Acknowledgement of "receipt" of Planning and Zoning
Commission recommendation.

 

3.   Discussion on Committee meeting times and other models that might be
used as alternative to the Committees - Gary J. Riedner
