[Vision2020] Martin Luther King Jr. Day

I'm ignoring question #2 because it doesn't interest me, but in considering 
#1 and #3, I wonder -- would David have advised the original Martin Luther 
to address his 95 theses directly to the College of Cardinals rather than 
posting them publicly?  Or would that not have gone "to the heart of the 
matter"?

Instead of celebrating Reformation Sunday, I suggest we have a universal 
Schismatics' Day.  Let's recognize dissent, nonconformity, free speech and 
free-thinking, not only as essential agents of change, but also as 
foundational for a robust democracy.

PS: What would a fully liberal Moscow look like?  A hell of a lot like it 
looks right now.  A wide variety of churches, a good number of atheists, a 
fair share of Republicans, Democrats, Greens, socialists, and John Birchers. 
  A full spectrum of colors and beliefs.  I would of course also hope for 
more civil liberties, more cleavage, and more Nicole Kidman, but I'm not 
holding my breath while Carl perfects cloning.  (Sorry, Carl.)
