Hmmm . . . perhaps the problem with Mr. Van Deventer's response was that
he'd had more than "a beer" before responding to Ms. Huskey's post. (Funny,
huh?)

Well, I'm *so glad* one of the _Credenda/Agenda_ writers responded to Ms.
Huskey's thoughtful post. Too bad he offered no substantive comment. I
suppose I shouldn't be surprised because he certainly couldn't have put much
thought into the issues raised since his dismissive response was posted just
15 minutes after the original message. Plus, he'd have had to think outside
his narrow box to give any serious thought to Ms. Huskey's post, and perhaps
that requires too much originality for him.

Hey! That's an idea . . . let's not bother to think at all about what
others say . . . let's just use this forum to demonstrate the paucity of
some folks' thought processes. People like Mr. Van Deventer can remain
blindly entrenched in their theocratic megalomaniacal Christ Church
worldview and I can remain firmly entrenched in my progressive liberal
beliefs. It's sooo much easier to take pathetic pot-shots (yes, this
response shows my guilt at that particular transgression, which I freely
admit) than it is to address the issues and concerns raised!

Oh . . . wait . . . since I'm the sinning liberal, I'm supposed to change
*my* ways and jump onboard with *their* desires for a theocratic government
in spite of the US Constitution.

Please remind me again: who is it that's supposedly intolerant???
