Thanks to Dick Schmidt for sharing the Google Hotspots finder, which can be
of limited value perhaps in larger cities, but is generally worthless. To
test it out, ask it for hotspots in 83843. It will come up with one. I admit
that if this is a genuine hotspot, I didn't know about it and will have to
investigate. So, thanks for that, Google. If you've seen my last two
articles in the Daily News you will rejoice in knowing that our own, little
Moscow, Idaho is clearly the most lit-up wireless paradise in the universe,
which is not exactly reflected in Google. So, use it as a resource, but you
can't depend on it for accuracy or complete information. I wonder what is
their source, and I suspect it's merely people adding locations as the
spirit moves them. Maybe I should see about adding all of our Moscow
locations and let the world sit back and gasp.
