As a Quaker when Jeremy first enlisted into the infantry of the U.S. Army,
shouldn't the thought, "Hey, wait a minute. I might be called to war and
have
to kill somebody." have crossed his mind?
First, ever cross your mind that maybe he was not a Quaker when he first
joined?
Second, ever cross your mind that maybe he had a religious experience that
told him that NOT killing innocent women and children in a distant land for no
reason is more important than any oath to any country or had nothing to do with
his oath?
Finally, did it ever cross your mind that maybe some people hold God over
country?

And maybe he is just a yellowbelly, so what?

"Thou shalt not judge", ever hear those words?

Respectfully,
Donovan J Arnold
