I doubt I will ever understand why folks HURT others because they are
different. Is it fear? Intolerance? Ignorance?
I'm sorry for this lady and her problems. I wish I could change it for her.

Melissa -
Although I am not gay, I sympathize with your friend 100%.
It has become painstakingly clear that some people fail to understand the
concept of equality and attempt to define the world around them in their own
self-righteous terms.
We must not . . . We cannot . . . We will not tolerate racial bias or
homophobic ignorance. We must be intolerant of such people. That is what
an Intolerista is all about.
Please have yoiur friend contact us either via the website at:

or via e-mail at:
notonthepalouse@moscow.com
She will find that many of us are like-minded as she is.
Take care,
Tom Hansen
Not On The Palouse, Not Ever
P.S. - I read in today's Spokesman-Review that there is an attempt in Idaho
to amend the Idaho Constitution to ban same-sex marriages.
Let me see if I have this right. It is wrong to ratify the Equal Rights
Amendment, but right to adopt an amendment banning same-sex marriages?????
