U.S. 95 Thorncreek Road to Moscow breakfast meetings begin Dec. 14

LEWISTON - Beginning Tuesday, Dec. 14, project staff from the U.S. 95 Thorncreek Road to Moscow project will host a monthly breakfast meeting, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.

The breakfast meeting will be held at the Mark IV Restaurant, 414 N Main St., in Moscow from 7 to 8 a.m. Project staff will provide a brief update about the project and answer questions. These meetings will be held regularly on the second Tuesday of each month at this time and location.

Coffee and light refreshment will be provided. Attendees are welcome to order breakfast at their own expense.

U.S. 95 Thorncreek Road to Moscow is a study led by ITD to determine an alignment for nearly 6.5 miles of U.S. 95 in Latah County. The project will result in an Environmental Impact Statement.

Nearly 500 people attended one of four public open houses in November to learn more about the project, participate in small group discussions and provide written comments. Many people suggested alignments for the road at the open houses.

Workshops to examine alignments suggested by the public and others are expected to be held in January.
