Jack Van Deventer knows that he can’t point you to any slanderous posters, 
but he also knows that if he admits the truth and concedes reality, the 
Wolfman will eat him alive. Therefore, Van Deventer needs to score 
brown-nose points. He wants to show that, even though he resigned from 
Credenda/Agenda, he’s a good little kirker who submits in all things. In 
other words, Van Deventer doesn’t know Jack. But before I go further, I’ll 
bite the chum and address those anonymous posts.

Thumbing through the Kirk Directory, I noticed that Van Deventer didn’t list 
his home address. I also noticed that he withheld the same personal 
information from the White Pages. Presumably he has good reason for this. 
Perhaps he feels it protects his loved ones. Think on this Jack VD. And 
remember that if you broaden your worldview to include things not found in 
the Wolfman’s septic tank, then he will devour your family just as he has 
devoured countless other families. The Wolfman loves to eat sheep.

Now what about Paul Kimmell? I have made a conscious effort to leave him 
alone because he is a symptom of the disease, not the disease itself. The 
Wolfman is the disease. But since VD insists on advancing uniformed 
arguments grounded in falsehoods, I will correct the record and remind him 
of something that he already knows. Since mid-June, Paul Kimmell complained 
that he had to retain counsel because he faced a felony charge. (The 
difference between a misdemeanor and a felony is $50 and 14 years in 
prison.) So the question is Why would Kimmell talk felony if didn’t violate 
the law?

The answer, at least for now, will have to wait because prosecutors limited 
the scope of their investigation to only one instance where a conflict may 
have existed: Kimmell’s participation on a voluntary fund-raising committee 
for NSA. For reasons unknown, they did not consider any of his land deals on 
behalf of the Kirk, including this year’s, or any other BOE hearings than 
this year’s. So when I hear VD and the Wolfman gloat about Kimmell’s clean 
bill of health, I suggest that they not count their snakes before they’re 
hatched. You never know when the prosecutor might reopen the case and 
consider *all* of the facts.

But Kimmell’s conflict of interest runs much deeper than any pecuniary 
benefits. It involves direct supervision from the Kirk. The Christ Church 
minutes state, “Doug Wilson reported that Paul Kimmell, in his role as 
County Commissioner, is open to oversight from the elders on certain 
issues.” In dougspeak, “open to oversight” means that the Wolfman asserts 
immediate control over Commissioner Kimmell “on certain issues” (plural). 
This means that Kimmell is much more than a land agent for the Kirk; he is 
their hand-held puppet.

Now while the average citizen might shudder when he sees an elected official 
abdicate his trust to a den of thieves, for a kirker it’s life as usual. 
Their universe orbits round the Wolfman, and they like it that way. He 
requires unqualified submission from them; they give it to him; and he 
tolerates no exceptions. Indeed, Kimmell knew as much when the LMT quoted 
him as saying, “I go to Christ Church. I’m not ashamed to be part of that.” 
Of course Kimmell’s want of shame is not the problem. The problem is that he 
failed to declare that he submitted his office to the Kirk before he voted 
to exempt them from property tax. Shiver me timbers: this sends chills down 
my spine.

Therefore, I offer the following counsel to Latah County Commissioner Paul 
Kimmell:

As a public servant, you should call a press conference to confess your 
breach of the public trust. You should confess that, during the BOE hearings 
of the last four years, (1) you failed to declare that you accepted money 
from Christ Church to be their “consultant” in matters conflicting with your 
office; (2) you failed to declare that you were negotiating land deals on 
behalf of the Kirk when you voted to exempt them, Logos School, and NSA from 
property tax; and (3) you failed to declare that you submitted your official 
charge to the moral oversight of reprobates. Then, after owning your sins 
with heartfelt contrition, you should seek the community’s forgiveness for 
your betrayal, and resign your post in all humility.

If you do this, most of the community (excepting the Wolfman) will gladly 
forgive you. Generally speaking, people see no dishonor in a man who takes 
responsibility for his deeds and puts them right. In fact, they admire it. 
They know it takes courage to nut up. So nut up: anything less is not 
Christian.

And for your family’s good and the good of your soul, divorce yourself from 
the Wolfman ASAP. Any pastor who would exploit a member of his flock, as 
Wilson did you, should go directly to hell.

PS: If VD dislikes venom, then he too should extract himself from the jaws 
of the asp. Wilson will exact retribution for your self-willed autonomy, but 
you can be free.
