[Vision2020] One school's thoughts..

If you check out the history of the San Jose State University Athletic
Department (by conducting various searches from their website), yo will find
that SJSU has been considering eliminating their football program (as well
as other sports) for some time.  The reason:  apathy.  Like University of
Louisiana at Monroe, they have had extremely poor ticket sales to sporting
events.

Do you realize that ULM had just over 2,000 in attendance at their
homecoming game last year.  SJSU had just over 5,000 at their homecoming
game.  Idaho had 14,000 (and this was the fourth straight losing season).

As you can see, SJSU's athletic programs were/are costing them more than the
revenue they realize.
