> Funny - my Webster's primary definition of 'dogma' is : "A
> system of doctrines proclaimed true by a religious sect."

> biblical version of Webster that I haven't seen yet.

Harry,

I don't know about a "biblical" version of Webster's, but here's the
electronic version:

http://www.webster.com/cgi-bin/dictionary?va=dogma

Note that the *primary* meaning is "something held as an established
opinion; especially : a definite authoritative tenet." The theory of
evolution *clearly* falls into that category.

This specious argument would be like the following conversion:

1. "Look at the beautiful train on that gown!"
2. "What are you talking about! That gown has neither engine nor caboose!
That person has no idea what a gown is!"

Sigh... Conversations I'm getting used to in Moscow.

Best,
Dale
