<P>I don't know that you've dashed anything or that I buy into the stereotypes you credit to me, but let me suggest to you that opposition to the war is not limited to those on the left. I know conservative Republicans who opposed this war. You probably know that too, as it is not in your nature to stereotype, your posts notwithstanding.</P>

<P>Yes, I remember that you opposed the war. What I was pointing out was that the fact that the Administration has lied about the war's rationales and it doesn't seem to bunch your undergarments. Now you seem to be using the "How would you know, Sunil, since you don't have access to classified documents," argument to suggest that I cannot know whether intelligence was misused. I guess you're willing to wait until all materials are declassified before making a call on this, so we'll set it aside. For my part, I'm willing to trust my nose on this, and no, the Rules of Evidence don't apply here, and don't always apply in court in a uniform fashion.</P>

<P>You haven't addressed my wild claim that the Administration is shoveling money to certain companies via no bid contracts. Does that worry you as a libertarian? Do you think the miracle of the marketplace might result in our needing to pay less? Do you see a problem with the way reconstruction is proceeding?</P>

<P>We may agree that we can't leave Iraq worse off than we found it. Do you think that one reason we cannot get international help (aside from our pre-war conduct) is that we refuse to relinquish sole control? Do you think that if perhaps we took a different approach we might obtain a different result?</P>
