[Vision2020] The Lutefisk Defense

I see the possibility of a consensus among "peaceniks" and 
"hawks" and all those in between with lutefisk the 
catalyst.  Why don't we threaten Iraq not with war, but 
with lutefisk?!  "if you don't turn over or destroy your 
WMD, we are dropping lutefisk on you and cutting off all 
other food supply lines..."  They will be on their knees 
(probably literally) in short order, begging for mercy.  
Should the people be truly perverse and actually LIKE 
lutefisk, that's okay too.  We simply depose Sadam by 
installing a puppet dictator (I'm pretty sure the US knows 
how to do that) on the motto "a lutefisk in every pot."

Since Moscow is always looking for economic 
development opportunities, perhaps there is a place in 
Alturas for Moscow Lutefisk Supply, Inc...

How to describe the taste of lutefisk to the

uninitiated....Janesta, have you ever (accidentally, of

course) taken a swig of Liquid Plumber while at the same

time chewing on a big bite of fish flavored jello?  No,

that's not quite it, either.  You are in an area of

Scandinavian influence, though, and you could easily find

out how it tastes.  Of course, you could also stick your

tongue on a frozen flagpole, too.  I recommend neither 
one.
