I beg to differ. It appears that your way of thinking there would not be one extra dollar coming into the tax coffers. One little example: The Casino in Coeur d' alene grosses over an average of 2 million a day. If it were a simple 15% gambling tax that would be 60,000 a day. That is 21.9 million a year. Granted......this Casino gets a tax free ride.<BR>

In regard to Nevada. They have no income tax. If they impose an income tax based upon the population that would be an average tax to cover their shortfall of $437.50. I wish that is all I paid.
