As a subscriber of two newspapers and a taxpayer on two separate =
properties, I'm curious as to how I didn't have a clue my city was =
considering this purchase until after it was a done deal. How much did =
'we' pay for it?
If it is to be called "Clyde Park", then what will we call the earlier =
parkland purchase from the Clyde family (NE corner of Polk and Empire =
Lane)? Aren't we on a long-term agenda to "find" the money to develop =
the Joseph St. park into ballfields, etc? How many ballfields are =
enough? If we really are going to provide everything for everyone, how =
about an ATV track and a shooting range (my preferences)? How many =
cities the size of Moscow maintain 45 acre parks? If the city would =
like to purchase my house, could I please live in it rent and tax free =
as long as I maintain it?
OK, I'm getting a little sarcastic. I strongly believe in future =
planning. The point is that the city reps need to be sensitive to the =
wants of the community, and more informative about large-scale, =
long-term purchases of this sort. Even though us commoners can be a =
real pain (this letter for example) the key word here is represent.
Along with Garrett and Heather:

Just curious

PS: Will the new high elevation highway be known as "Clyde Expressway"? =
Whoops, a little relapse into sarcasm. Sorry
