You assume the "proper authority" would care to go to the expense. If it's
not a hand written letter from someone that can vote for them, they will not
care about it's content. Again, my point is this type of activism is
misguided and a waste of the activist's energy. If you want to impress upon
our unelected leaders how serious you are, write actual letters or march.
Online petitions, while making you feel good, don't mean anything.
