[Vision2020] Arrest aftermath

To answer you question Carl, I feel a lot less save than I did 24 hours ago.
I was hoping that the FBI would leave us alone out here in the panhandle of
Idaho, but now I know that they will not. Now we have a very nice guy, who
I do NOT believe is a terrorist or a terrorist supporter jailed without
right of hearing or trial. (Check Patriot Act #1).

Yes he did more than study here. I advise any foreign student that from now
on they list eating, sleeping, breathing, possibly going out on a date or
clothes shopping as additional activities they will perform while in the
United States. Working for a charity must definitely be a no-no, especially
one of the biggest Muslim charities, actively supported by the Saudi
government.

Notice, if our local friend is to be prosecuted for his volunteer work, the
Saudi Government (our friends) must be now deemed to be supporting terrorist
organizations. I wonder when we will invade them.

I just heard a sound bite of President Hoover assuring Moscow residents,
students, and parents of U of I students that the university and our town
are safe, following the incident the other day. Does anyone really feel any

less safe than we did 48 hours ago? This is somewhat overwrought, in my
opinion. If anyone does have a justification for increased anxiety, I
believe it would be the innocent Muslims living in our Palouse community.
