[Vision2020] RenFair/Rendezvous questiion

I would like to set the record straight in one small regard....
The Moscow Renaissance Fair (that's the spring celebration at the park
with free admission) never, not even once, requested that alcohol sales
be allowed in East City Park.
Rendezvous in the Park (that's the mid-summer concert series that
charges admission) first made the request for alcohol sales in 1990 and
suggested that the Renaissance Fair would benefit as well from that.
The RenFair board disagreed publicly (as Ron Force notes below).
Rendezvous again brought up the suggestion for alcohol sales in the
park, during the Rendezvous only and under strict conditions, a few
years ago.  The RenFair was not a part of that request.  The request was
denied.
