<FontFamily><param>Arial</param><smaller>Now that the "liquor liability" t=
hread has woven its way back to a
three-pete of the public v. private schools issue, I've changed
the subject line above to ask a question relevant to the liquor
issue previously discussed. Do you think city council should
approve the sale of beer and wine at either Ren Fair or
Rendezvous or both by a licensed liquor caterer, and if so,
would you request any restrictions greater than those required
by state law as previously presented on this list?

[to those who would simply like to say "yes" or "no," I'll be happy
to collect your vote off list and report totals later]

<FontFamily><param>Times New Roman</param><smaller>But essentially you're =
taking the position that because you don't want
the state to establish and fund public schools, the state should stop.
Since the Idaho Constitution calls for the establishment and funding of
such schools, the state is acting within its lawful authority in doing so.=

Would I be correct in saying that you would like to amend the Idaho
Constitution to bar such action on the part of the state? At least from
K through 12?
