Let me try to understand your recent note, Doug Jones.
A trashy little booklet masquerading as history entitled =E2=80=9CSlavery As=
 It Was=E2=80=9D=20
written by Doug Wilson and Steve Wilkins (and published by you), several=20
newspaper interviews conducted voluntarily with Doug Wilson who reiterated t=
hat =E2=80=9C
race=E2=80=9D based slavery is evil, (and we all know that slavery in the an=
te-bellum=20
South was, in fact, race based =E2=80=93 but then Doug never addresses that=20
inconsistency) while plain old garden variety slavery is biblically sanction=
ed, numerous=20
email *explanations* of this peculiar doctrinal interpretation from Doug W.=20
(including calls for Vision 20/20 readers to repent), shrill ads from Christ=
=20
Church board members defending Doug=E2=80=99s defense of slavery, and still=20=
you have the=20
gall to blame folks who *hate* the historic Christian gospel for the current=
=20
uproar?    Please!
Here=E2=80=99s what=E2=80=99s amazing to me:
1.  Once again you are carrying the can for Doug Wilson.
2.  Credenda Agenda, which I think of as =E2=80=9Cyour=E2=80=9D baby, carrie=
s an article in=20
the current issue under the heading Femina, which positively encourages =E2=
=80=9Cgodly=E2=80=9D
 women to expect a divine reward if they rat out their dissenting husbands t=
o=20
the pastor and elders of the church.  (This reporting is essential if their=20
husbands are =E2=80=9Cfools,=E2=80=9D making a =E2=80=9Cstink=E2=80=9D about=
 the church or, are unrepentant=20
about questioning the decisions of church leadership. And that is different=20
from life under Chairman Mao or Comrade Stalin how? And how desperate are yo=
u=20
guys anyhow?)
3.  Why a man of your biblical wisdom and life experience can be surprised,=20
much less outraged, when your employer sows the wind and then reaps the=20
whirlwind.
It is true that our trivial dialogue will be forgotten in much less than 40=20
years, try 40 minutes, however, the effect of the filthy bilge leaking from=20=
the=20
bad ship Confederate informs this conversation 140 years after it sunk.  A=20
singular example would be the hero-worshipping claptrap Doug Wilson will spe=

about that racist reprobate R.L. Dabney at your upcoming opinion conference.=

Try as I might, I cannot imagine that somewhere in the pantheon of Reformed=20
Saints someone (anyone) would be worthier of Wilson's attention than Dabney.=
