Moscow Food Co-op Begins Tuesday Growers Market

Moscow Food Co-op kicks off the start of another summer with the
Weekday Growers Market on Tuesday, May 6, from 5pm to 7 pm. The market,
held in the Co-op parking lot at 221 East Third Street, will continue
each
Tuesday through the end of October. The Weekday Growers Market features
local growers selling their own fresh fruits, vegetables and flowers,
with a
focus on organically grown products.

Beginning in June, also every Tuesday evening, the Co-op will host a
BBQ dinner and music on the 4th Street side of building, in the patio
area facing the Post Office. Local acoustic musicians will play for
diners' listening pleasure while the Co-op staff grills various dinner
options.

The Moscow Food Co-op is a full-service natural foods grocery store
featuring a whole foods deli and bakery that makes all prepared foods
on-site. A member of the Moscow community for 30 years, the Co-op opened
its
new location in 1999 at the corner of Third Street and Jefferson and
features a large selection of grocery, cheese, bulk foods, fresh organic

produce, homeopathic and herbal remedies, house wares, and natural
health
and body care products. Inventory selections emphasize sustainably and
organically grown foods, minimally processed products without added
preservatives, and locally produced items.
