There's the hitch. Metaphoric divisions are rarely binary oppositions.
And not all apparent binary oppositions are negations. It's a
trinitarian thing, though (e.g., The Son is not the Father, and yet the
Son is not any less than the Father).

Chesterton is a great place to start in trying to understand many of the
culture clashes on Vision 2020 and in the future of Moscow. He's a
brilliant Roman Catholic author who has made deep impressions on many of
us local Protestants. New St. Andrews even offers elective courses on
Chesterton. I recommend the following two books to start with:
