Visionaries:

Progressive legal theory is to blame for allowing the Christian born again
fundamentalist G. Bush to possibly wage war against Iraq?

So we are to believe that fundamentalist Christian influences in our
government and legal system have nothing to do with the justifications for
waging war against an Islamic nation?

And the witch burnings in Salem were due to the evil influence of those
Godless progressive relativistic savages who owned America before the
European Christians stole this land with the divine right of the Christian
God behind them.

If you don't see the connection here, it must be because we are living in
different universes.

Of course, I understand, Douglas, that you have the true insights into God
that give you the correct divine interpretations of the Bible and ethics and
politics, and other Christian denominations and religions who disagree with
you 180 degrees on important ethical and spiritual matters just don't have
this supreme knowledge. So who am I, a lost progressive relativist, to
challenge your ultimate ethical system ?

It seems "progressives" can be blamed for most anything in your view of
things.

Ted
