Dear MJHS Parents - 

 

Students are well into their second quarter of school and we are
enjoying the nice fall weather.  Our PE classes were even outside on the
track today.  

 

New Phone System

We need to let you know that we have one big change happening this week.
The entire Moscow School District is getting a brand new phone system
that will be activated this Thursday.  The old system is so old that we
can't get new parts and it is beginning to fail in many areas of our
district.  We are happy to let you know that you shouldn't even notice a
difference you when you call us.  We are keeping our fingers crossed for
a smooth transition, but if you call and get cut off, keep trying until
you get through.  Please be patient for a couple of days while we learn
to use our new system.  We hope that you don't notice any changes on
your end!

 

Driver Education

The Moscow School District will be offering Spring and Summer Driver
Education Classes.  The spring class starts mid-February and the summer
session starts in early June.  Students must be 14 1/2 by the time the
class starts and must have submitted a Permission Slip, which is
available in the MJHS and MHS offices or online at:

offered on a first come first served basis with letters going out the
first part of December.  Questions can be directed to Carla Helbling @
882-2591.

 

T-Shirt order forms

Students all received MJHS t-shirt and hoodie order forms last Friday.
If you would like to order and don't have a form, please go to the MJHS
website where there are forms that you can print.  Please send the form
and a check payable to MJHS for the types of shirts that you would like.
Orders will be filled before the Christmas holiday break.  Susan Mahoney
has been in charge of this project that ends on Monday November 24.  

 

Fall Dance

The fall all-school dance was a big success.  We would like to thank all
of the parents who showed up to help chaperone and to listen to the live
band.  A student band played for this event and they were great!  We
hope "The Skinnies" are ready to go big time because they now have a
HUGE following!  

 

MJHS Student Directory

The Parent Support Team publishes the MJHS Student Directory each year.
You can get your copy for the price of $1.00.  Please stop by the MJHS
office anytime to pick up this year's edition.

 

First Quarter Report Card and Cub Communicator

Hopefully you have received the first quarter Report Card and the "Cub
Communicator".  It has more in depth information about school activities
and events.  It is also on the MJHS website if you would like to see it.
At the bottom of this letter is a calendar of school activities that
should be helpful.  If you need to get athletic dates, times, and
locations, please go to the MJHS website, click on "activities" and go
to "highschoolsports.net".  The information is complete and very up to
date.
