FACT: The fastest growing group of cell phone users in this country are
5-9 year olds.
FACT: 61% of High School students have personal profiles on sites such
as MySpace and Friendster.
FACT: 40% of teens reply to messages from strangers.

Monday - October 30, MJHS is hosting "Cyber-bullying" - a national
speaking tour. 
The guest speaker will address students and staff earlier in the day. On
Monday evening (7-8pm) a public lecture will be offered to Parents and
other staff. 

This is a great opportunity for us all to learn about current technology
and how our children are using/abusing the system. 

Please consider attending this event and supporting our community
awareness of this issue. Feel free to forward this information on to
other parents or groups you feel would benefit from this presentation.
