If you aren't busy growing webbed feet or if you need a break from the
leaks in your roof, then drop by the warm and dry Palouse Discovery
Science Center this Saturday, November 11, 2006, and help us celebrate
our third anniversary.  We are hosting a fun-filled, FREE open house
from 10-3.  Bring the whole family to the PDSC and enjoy a potpourri of
programs.  Along with the great holiday gift items in our Curiosity
Shop, you will be treated to the following:
     The Science of Pierre Curie
     The Art of Taxidermy with Chris Smith
     Healthy Hands with the Pullman Regional Hospital
     The Zoom of Balloon Rockets with Chris Mau (1-3 PM)
     Exotic Animals with Gilbert and his PetCo Prize Wheel
     Gritman Memorial Hospital
      Free face painting by Debby and Henry Stinson (10 AM - 12 PM)
      Out-of-this-world planetarium shows
        every half hour, starting at 10:30 AM 
        (the last show starts at 2:00)
 
Especially for our anniversary event, we are selling the award winning
children's science series, Adventures of Riley, at a fantastic discount.
The 6 book set, a $96 value, is on sale for only $50.  Individual
Adventures of Riley books are marked down from $15.95 to $10.  While
PDSC members continue to get a 10% discount on items purchased from our
Curiosity Shop, this 10% discount does not apply to the Adventures of
Riley books.
