Our final MJHS Family Night for the year will be a Health and Fitness
Fair that we are co-sponsoring with the PE department on April 26th. We
are in the process of asking businesses to participate in the fair and
need some help with this. We are asking health oriented businesses if
they would like to have a vendor table to provide information about
their business, and we are also looking for businesses who are willing
to provide a 5 - 10 minute interactive health oriented station that
families can rotate through. Some of the interactive stations we already
have organized are using heart rate monitors, pedometers, and measuring
blood pressure. We are also looking for businesses that could have
information about healthy snacks, and possibly some healthy snack samples.
We've already contacted the following businesses:
Pure Energy
North Idaho Athletic Club
Curves for Women
Swim Club
Wrestling Club
Gritman Medical Center
Kimberling Insurance
Bowling Club
Judo Club
CJ's Dancing lessons
Dr. Sandell (Chiropractor)
If you have contacts with other businesses and would like to talk with
them about the health and fitness fair, please let me know. I have an
informational letter and a sign-up flyer that you can give to them.
Thanks,
Susan Mahoney 882-9102
