The following letter is for 9th grade students and their parents. It
comes to you from Bob Celebrezze, Principal at Moscow High School.
March 10, 2006
To the Parents/Guardians of the Class of 2009:
Do you remember your first day of high school, the long hallways, and
the new faces? The geometry class in some far-off corner of the building
that you just could not find?=20
Your 9th grader will be attending Moscow High School next fall. Be
prepared to provide support to your soon-to-be sophomore.
The administration, teachers, and staff of Moscow High School invite
you to a very important orientation meeting on Wednesday, March 22nd
from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. in the Moscow High School Auditorium to acquaint
you with the people, places, curriculum and policies of the high school.
You will learn about the daily schedule and Open 5th hour, tour the
building, meet some of our teachers and staff, and much more.
On Thursday, March 23 and Friday, March 24, MHS sophomore counselor
Charlene Jakich will meet with all 9th grade students in their Earth
Science classes to begin the pre-registration process. Graduation and
college entrance requirements will be reviewed and students will receive
the following information: =20
* Pre-registration form=20
* Moscow High School Academic Guide which includes course descriptions
You are encouraged to review these documents with your child as
you help with completion of the pre-registration form. The completed
form should be returned to your student=3Ds Earth Science teacher no =
later
than Tuesday, March 28th. If you have questions, call Char Jakich in
the MHS Counseling Office at 882-2591.
We are committed to helping your 9th grader make the transition to
Moscow High School. The orientation meeting will be well worth your
time. Please mark your calendar now and plan to join us Wednesday,
March 22nd, promptly at 6:30 p.m. in the MHS auditorium. =20
Sincerely
Bob Celebrezze
Principal, Moscow High School
