High School. It is a message for all Ninth Grade Parents:

Do you remember your first day of high school, the long hallways, and
the new faces? That geometry class in some far-off corner of the
building that you just couldn't find?=20

Your 9th grader will be attending Moscow High School next fall. Be
prepared to provide support to your soon-to-be sophomore.

The administration, teachers, and staff of Moscow High School invite you
to a very important orientation meeting on Wednesday, March 23rd from
6:30 - 8:00 p.m. in the Moscow High School Auditorium to acquaint you
with the people, places, and policies of the high school. You will
learn about the daily schedule and Open 5th hour, tour the building,
meet some of our teachers and staff, and much more.

On Thursday, March 24 and Friday, March 25, MHS sophomore counselor Jan
Leander will meet with all 9th grade students in their Earth Science
classes to begin the pre-registration process. Graduation and college
entrance requirements will be reviewed and students will receive the
following information: =20

* Academic Guide which includes course descriptions

You are encouraged to review these documents with your child as you help
with completion of the pre-registration form. The completed form should
be returned to your student's Earth Science teacher no later than
Tuesday, March 29th. If you have questions, call Jan Leander in the
MHS Counseling Office at 882-2591.

We are committed to helping your 9th grader make the transition to
Moscow High School. The orientation meeting will be well worth your
time. Please mark your calendar now and plan to join us Wednesday,
