[RPPTL ISC] Upcoming CLEs at Executive Council Meeting

For those who will be attending the upcoming RPPTL Executive Council meeting in person or virtually, there are some great CLEs planned.  Among them is one happening at the joint committee meeting of Commercial Real Estate and Leasing.   More details on this below.  Our own committee co-chair Adele Stone will also be presenting at that meeting, with Jeff Dollinger, on a very interesting historic land deal that launched central Florida development in the late 1800s. The Commercial Real Estate and Real Estate Leasing Committees are hosting a joint meeting on Thursday, May 29th from 10-11:30am at the upcoming RPPTL convention in Orlando.  The meeting will feature a CLE presentation on ground leases with two outstanding speakers, Art Menor and Tom Kaufman, both experts with national reputations in leasing matters.  Art is a long time Executive Council member and well-known to many in the Section. Tom is a former president of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL), practices in the Washington, D.C. area and has extensive experience with ground leases.  It will be a sophisticated discussion providing valuable insights and takeaways for those who might be involved in ground leases from time to time (whether as landlord’s, tenant’s, or tenant’s lender’s counsel).
