[Liability Insurance] TODAY's Joint ISC and CLC Meeting

Good morning everyone,

We've got some great news for you all.  While today is the ISC's regularly
scheduled meeting time (*12 Noon Eastern*), we'll be joined today by our
friends from the Construction Law Committee.  As today's meeting will be
the Joint ISC and CLC meeting in conjunction with the Breakers' Executive
Council meeting this weekend.  Attached is the Agenda for today's meeting,
and we have a very informative CLE lined up for today.  Greg Podolak, with
Saxe Doernberger & Vita, P.C., will be giving the following
presentation: "Shifting
Focus: 2021 Changes to Florida’s Fee Shifting Statute."  His presentation
will analyze the implications of Senate Bill 76, with a focus on the
historical application of Florida’s unique fee shifting statute, Fla. Stat.
§627.428 compared to how fee shifting will likely be addressed after SB 76
takes effect. Additionally, the presentation will consider the shortened
timing for notices of insurance claims, pre-suit notice, and consolidation
of claims.

Since this meeting is in conjunction with RPPTL Section Meeting, below is
