Folks,

I hope everyone is having a good new year so far.  As you all may recall,
in January and February, the Insurance & Surety Committee holds our monthly
calls on the 4th Monday of each month, so as not to conflict with national
holidays in those months. So, we hope you all can join us for our next
Meeting tomorrow, *Monday, January 27, 2020 - *beginning at* Noon* (Eastern)

Attached for our call are the following: (1) Agenda for Monday’s call;
(2) the December Meeting Minutes; (3) the PowerPoint presentation for
Monday’s CLE; and (4) the Agenda for our upcoming joint committee meeting
with the Construction Law Committee, this coming Friday, January 31, 2020,
from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. (EST).  If you would like to present, or have any

We are excited to welcome back Frederick J. Fisher, JD, CCP, as our speaker
for Monday’s CLE.  He will be completing his presentation from last month,
which is called  “*The Dangers that May Lurk…” – INSURANCE GOTCHYA’S COMMON
TO ALL D&O/ EPLI/ CYBER & E&O FORMS and the resultant claims problems*.



As you all may recall, Mr. Fisher is President of Fisher Consulting Group,
and previously was Founder and Sr. Vice President of *E.L.M. Insurance
Brokers, *a Wholesale & MGA facilityspecializing in Professional Liability
and Specialty Line risks.  In 1994 he formed what is now known as ELM
insurance Brokers, a firm that has acted as an MGA and wholesale broker of
Professional Liability Insurance and Specialty Lines. He has lectured
extensively on professional liability issues since 1978, and he has
authored over 64 articles in trade journals and periodicals. He is also the
author of *BROKER BEWARE, Selling Real Estate within the Law*. In 1993, he
was elected to the *Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS)
Board of Trustees*. After serving in all Officer capacities, he was
elected *President
in 1997.*
