Have you done a title search to confirm that there are no improper deeds or mortgages recorded?

Subject: [RPPTL Leasing Committee] 8/6/2020 Help?? Opinions- Similar problems? Unauthorized address use by unknown persons- Improper attempts to establish legal residence? Threat to title?

Good afternoon-
A client has been receiving mail at her address for people/family completely unknown to her. This has been going on for months.
She has tried all usual methods, including--returning mail to post office, writing return to sender, directly contacting the senders, speaking directly with the post office and the mail carrier, etc. All without success-
The mail includes all types of bills, including some with personal information: medical bills, bank account statements, etc.
Has anyone had this problem and if so what was the solution?
Her concern is that someone is attempting to establish residency at her address; a possible threat to the ownership of the property- or attempts for loans using the property as collateral.
Please contact me directly if you have any thoughts on this - and/ or any solutions to the problem.
Obviously in South Florida there is no limit to the plans and schemes that people develop - and often get away with.
Best regards,
Adrienne
