Hello everyone:
I have a commercial landlord client who recently won an ad valorem tax assessment appeal and got back a sizeable amount of money. Is there any standard regarding the proper amount that the landlord can retain to cover the cost of appeal and how much needs to be distributed back to the tenants? My initial thought would be no, but I thought I'd ask the audience.
Thanks!
Brenda
Best regards,
