[RPPTL LandTen] Landlord/Tenant Meeting Reminder

We will hold our next meeting of the Landlord/Tenant Committee of the Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar Thursday, July 26th, 9:30 am - 11:00 am. This meeting will be held in person in conjunction with the RPPTL Executive Council meetings at The Breakers, Palm Beach, and by phone. If you are in the area and would like to join us for the meeting, please drop by.
On the Agenda will be:
Discussion of proposed changes to Section 34.011, F.S. regarding definition of claims/amounts in controversy
Discussion of recent case, Geraci v. Sunstar, regarding determination of whether a condominium subject to a long term lease qualifies for homestead exemption status.
We will also have a CLE presentation by Frank J. Cerza, Esquire, who will discuss Tenant improvement work letters. Frank is a partner in the Real Estate, Retail Industry and International Practice Groups of Pepper Hamilton LLP, resident in the New York office and co-chair of the firm's Italian Desk and a frequent lecturer on lease-related topics.
