SB 1146 Relating to Foreclosures Constantine 01/21/10
Foreclosures [SPSC]; Provides requirements for landlords
following commencement of a foreclosure
action. Provides for security deposits and advance rents to be
maintained in a specified manner.
Provides for disclosure of the foreclosure action to prospective
tenants. Provides an exception to
liability for failure to provide notice, etc.
Requires purchaser at CT to credit tenants account for amount of
any landlord held deposits and advance rent if not held by the landlord
or landlord's agent. Requires 90 days notice after CT to issue Writ of
Possession.
