Greetings IESAF Members,
 
It is that time again to recognize your fellow SAF colleagues for their outstanding contributions to the SAF Society and natural resource profession.  Please find below list of awards for state and national society branches.  Also, please note that the deadline dates for award nominations will be upon us soon.  Take the time now to nominate your worthy colleagues! 
 
IESAF AWARDS (DEADLINE FEB 25)
 
IESAF Communicator of the Year
The outstanding IESAF Communicator of the Year award recognizes an IESAF member or Inland Empire regional natural resource professional who has shown exemplary contributions in communications initiatives and programs that increase the understanding of forestry and natural resources in our Inland Empire region.
Send nominations by email or phone to Terry Shaw (IESAF Awards Chair) at tshaw at uidaho.edu or 509-595-8755 by February 25th.  Please send contact information and a brief narrative why you believe this individual would be an outstanding choice for this award.  Final nominations will be reviewed and chosen by nominations chair and IESAF officers.  Recipients will be recognized at the IESAF annual meeting. 
 
IESAF Forester of the Year
The outstanding IESAF Forester of the Year award recognizes an IESAF member who has shown exemplary contributions in the field of forestry and/or natural resource management in our Inland Empire region.
