[Iesaf_palouse] 2007 Sustainable Forestry Tour for Educators

Dear All,

Harold Osborne presented an overview of the 2007 Sustainable Forestry
Tour for Educators at our last meeting.  

It was motioned and carried that the Palouse/Snake River Chapter sponsor
a teacher for this event.  We can choose our own teacher, or have the
Tour Director assign us an applicant.  The cost is $300 for registration
and up to $200 for travel.  There are general funds available for this
sponsorship.  

We would like your input regarding this sponsorship.  Do you agree that
we should sponsor a teacher?  Do you have any creative ways of showing
SAF support for this event?  It was suggested by Ron Mahoney that a SAF
t-shirt and hat be provided for our sponsored teacher.
