I hope you had a great New Years and are looking forward to 2013.

Attached is the brochure for the 6th Annual Construction Law Institute scheduled for March 7-9, 2013.  The Institute will be held at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort near Orlando.  I encourage you to register early and secure a hotel room, as rooms at the block rate historically sell out fast.  Last year we had around 350 total attendees, and anticipate more this year.

As in past years, the Institute golf tournament will start around 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 7th, followed by a reception that evening.  The seminars will be conducted on Friday and Saturday.  The advanced level seminars ranging from the various project delivery systems, the new rules of civil procedure and case law dealing with electronic discovery, in-depth seminars on the use of i-Pads, and the traditional legislative and case law update.

As you can see from the brochure, a panel comprised of State Court Judges and a Federal Magistrate will deliver the seminar on the changes in E-Discovery Rules, which should be very informative and insightful.  Additionally, Chief Justice Ricky L. Polston of the Florida Supreme Court will give remarks at the Saturday morning breakfast.

On behalf of the Institute Committee, we look forward to another great gathering of Florida Construction Lawyers and Industry Consultants for fun, fellowship and learning.
