[RPPTL-constructionlaw] Construction Jury Instructions: Do you want a say?

Folks,

As you may know, a subcommittee of the Construction Law Committee is busy updating the Jury Instructions in Construction Cases chapter for the upcoming Seventh Edition of the Florida Construction Law and Practice book published by LexisNexis.

The subcommittee seeks your assistance in two ways.


1.      Verdict forms


If possible, we would like to prepare proposed verdict forms to complement the instructions; however, the time to do this is short and to accomplish this we would need more help.  The drafting work would need to be completed by the end of October.  If you are willing to volunteer to help with this, please let us know.  You would receive credit in the publication. 2.      Comments on Jury Instructions in Construction Cases


If you have comments on the prior instructions as published in the 6th Edition or comments in general regarding new developments that should be considered in the next version of the instructions, the subcommittee wants your input.

Finally, while I would like to e-mail everyone a copy of the previously published jury instructions, I don't think I'm allowed so you are on your own.  The form at the link, however, allows you to provide a general comment without reference to the 6th Edition's section numbers.
