Guten Morgen my CLC faithful! (Now read the first sentence again but
this time using your best impersonation of the actor Werner Klemperer
who played Col. Klink on the sitcom Hogan Heroes. Better?  Did you form
your thumb and pointer finger into the shape of a monocle? Good. Now
press it to your left eye? Do it!)   

Actually, "good morning" is nearly the extent of my use of the German
language but ever since the 1983 edition of the St. Pauli Girl poster
hung on my dorm room wall at UF and Heidi Klum came into my life (go
with it people) I've been thinking about Germans in a way different from
Col. Klink, Sergeant Schultz and Arnold Schwarzenegger (actually
Austrian - same difference). 

That leads me to this month's CLC speaker - Chris Weiss (probably not of
German descent but I was struggling for a segue to his introduction).

Chris is one of Florida's preeminent construction attorneys and we are
very privileged to have him address our group.  Chris will be speaking
about the difference between latent and patent construction defects, the
Slavin doctrine, the completed and accepted rule, and issues relating to
the statute of limitations, insurance and surety concerns.  Das ist gut?
Yes - it's going to be great.
