<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#002060">The recent thread about successors in interest to Washington Mutual made me think that I really should ask the group my question about succession.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#002060">The last deed to a particular parcel was recorded in 1956 and the Grantee was identified as "The Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company." Since that time, there have been numerous reorganizations (think Ma
Bell), reallocations, redistributions, and general passings of "the ball." I just want to find out the name of the entity that currently owns that particular parcel.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#002060">From my research, I have concluded that Lumen Technologies Inc. is the successor in interest to the original Grantee. But now Lumen is telling me otherwise.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#002060">Any thoughts on how to discover or confirm the correct identity of the current successor entity?<o:p></o:p></span></p>
