<p class="MsoNormal">Agreed. Chase took over all of WAMU holdings and acquisitions. Mr. Cooper is just a servicing company and does not hold the Note for any mortgages. It is likely a mortgage-backed security trust as the holder of the Note given the timeline.
But Chase would be who would sign a reconveyance to clear title (more than likely).
