<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">That seems to me like the right plan. Just list the amendments in the “Type of Document” section. Don’t forget to check the “Partial Sale” box at the top and give the percentage of the unit changing hands.
 I would think a supplemental statement explaining the transaction will also be helpful. Please report back on whether the county accepts it this way.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Another issue that comes to mind - if this isn’t recorded before the end of the year, the full 2026 property tax will need to be paid on the units before the county will allow recording (if they treat this
 like other BLAs). In Spokane County, I’ve been denied recording of condo documents in January and made to wait until the tax roll is finalized in February so the taxes could be paid.

<p class="MsoNormal">I have clients amending the Unit Boundary between units.  The title company says an amendment to the map and declaration of condominium will be sufficient without doing a deed of conveyance.  I have done that several times without issue.
  Now I have a situation where one unit owners is paying the other unit owner for moving the unit line (changing the Unit square footage).  Without a deed how is real estate excise tax reported?  Do we just do a REETA showing the consideration paid?<o:p></o:p></p>
