If you end up naming joint Personal Representatives, I would suggest that you include language in the Will to the effect that "in the event the Personal Representatives cannot agree on an issue, the decision of PR "A" shall prevail." Someone has to have a 51%
vote to avoid having to go to Court for decision-making!</div>

my instinct is that it would be better to have one be the personal representative and the other be a successor PR. Any arguments for and against?</p>
