insurer to a period of less than one year from the time when the cause of action accrues. In contracts of property insurance, or of marine and transportation insurance, such limitation shall not be to a period of less than one year from the date of the loss."

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:#002060">In the absence of any tolling agreement, the absolute latest deadline by which a claim must be made against another party is governed by RCW 4.16 (statutes of limitation).
