<p class="MsoNormal">Shoreline. Jurisdiction says they misread the code and should not have approved it in the first place. Code does not allow a building of that height within setback. Redesign and shorter building defeats the purpose of the new garage
and client would not have demolished the original one. This is a clear case of the client following the rules, getting the permits and acting in reliance. City acknowledges it is their mistake but has revoked the permit mid construction. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Listmates. Client goes through all the hoops and gets a permit issued for a replacement garage. Demolition permit issued, old garage is torn down. New garage is started when client gets a red tag and a “ Whoops we messed up” from
the City saying they should not have approved new project, Sorry. I have never had to address this situation before. Anyone have experience with this type of thing?
