It will be a pain for the recorder's office. They are supposed to reach out to all registered land owners and notify them that they have the opportunity to file an application of withdrawal for free no later than December 1, 2022 -- but in any event, registered land all goes away by July 1, 2023. The thing is, there is no master list of registered land owners in King County (not sure about the other counties).
