York, 44 Wash.App. 547, 723 P.2d 448, 75 A.L.R.4th 1137 (1986).<br>
The appellate court held that "The trial court has no authority to
either (1) generally compel production of the wills or (2) order
release of the wills to Ms. Taylor as the Yorks' guardian." It
further held that "without the consent of the testator, disclosure
of a will prior to the testator's death violates the [lawyers'
duty of confidentiality.]"<br>

One possibility for you as the will custodian is to file the
client's will in the sealed Will Repository maintained by Court
Clerk, pursuant to RCW 11.12.265.<br>

recently had a guardian appointed by a Superior Court. We hold
client’s estate planning docs. The guardian has called
requesting copies of client’s EP docs. Is the firm allowed to
release those copies to legally appointment guardian without a
court order? Is there any other required info firm should
